About The Ordinary Lactic Acid 5% + HA
Lactic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that gently loosens dull surface cells, so skin looks brighter and feels smoother. At 5%, this is the mildest option, which makes it a good first acid.
Hyaluronic acid in the formula helps keep skin hydrated while it exfoliates.

Who it suits
Most skin types, including sensitive and dry skin and people new to acids.
How to use
- Use in the evening on clean, dry skin.
- Apply a few drops to the face, avoiding the eyes.
- Start 2–3 nights a week and build up if your skin is comfortable.
- Wear sunscreen every morning.
Good to know: Do not use on the same night as retinol or other strong acids, and wear sunscreen every morning, as acids make skin more sensitive to the sun.

This saved my skin. I have acne-prone oily skin. Tried so many other products before, including Salicylic acid. Nothing worked. Have used Lactic Acid 5% for a month now and the results have been incredible. It works so well – no irritation, no breakout. I apply this immediately after face wash, i then wait for 10+ minutes before applying Niacinamide.
