About The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%
This is the serum people usually mean when they talk about “The Ordinary niacinamide”. It pairs a high 10% concentration of niacinamide (vitamin B3) with 1% zinc PCA to help balance oily-looking skin. With regular use, skin tends to look less shiny, pores look smaller, and blemishes and uneven texture are less noticeable.
The formula is water-based and lightweight, so it sits comfortably under moisturiser and sunscreen, which helps in Pakistan’s hot, humid summers.

Who it suits
Most skin types, especially oily, combination and blemish-prone skin. If your skin is very sensitive, start once a day and patch test first, as 10% niacinamide can feel tingly for some people at the start.
How to use
- Cleanse your face.
- Apply a few drops to your face, morning and/or evening.
- Let it absorb, then follow with moisturiser.
- In the morning, always finish with sunscreen.
Good to know: The Ordinary recommends not using this in the same routine as pure vitamin C (ascorbic acid) products. Use them at different times of day instead, for example vitamin C in the morning and niacinamide at night.

- Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 for extra hydration
- Salicylic Acid 2% Solution for clogged pores (use at a different time of day)
